Frank Gehry was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He studied in Harvard city planning and graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in USC. He won the Pritzker Prize in 1989, the most important architecture prize.

This architect has been my inspiration for many reasons. The first one is the Basque Country: the magnificent Guggenheim and the different entrances of Bilbao's underground. When I first visited Bilbao and see those masterpieces I knew I wanted to study architecture.

After Bilbao, the other building from the mind of the genius that I visited was Hotel Marqués de Riscal in Elciego, Álava. This one is quite amazing due to being in a village in a plain terrain and then, in the middle, there's a hill where the building is established.

But, actually, the ones that inspired me the most aren't these ones, the visited. They are the ones I want to visit at least once in my lifetime: MIT Stata Center, 8 Spruce Street, Dancing House, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Weisman Art Museum, Pritzker Pavilion...
